At the border of the small village Bordil in Catalonia, you can find our unique residence Can Tallada, which is fully built in neocolonial style by a Spanish family that used to make a fortune in Cuba.
This splendid place exudes the Spanish grandeur with its turrets, high ceilings, terraces, old water tower, classical fireplace, traditional inner court, magnolia tree from 1900 and Art Nouveau floorings. It%u2019s the place to be for a short time-off, a romantic weekend or a leisurely holiday with family and friends. The domain is entirely walled and the beautiful gardens, including spacious swimming pool, are designed by the famous Dutch landscape architect Peter Lubbers.
In addition to the luxury, peace and quietness of the residence, Can Tallada makes an excellent operating base to discover Catalonia and its whole range of sights and things to do. This area offers great possibilities to visit the numerous medieval Catalonian towns (Monells, Peratallada, Ullastret), various museums and roman churches, beautiful cities like Gerona, Figueras and Barcelona, the rough Costa Brava with her beautiful beaches and seaside resorts (Estartit, L%u2019Escala, Begur and Callella).
