Well, this is one of our first born: we started renting serviced apartments with this building. An elegant apartment in an end of 19th century building with international and local neighbors. The building is well looked after and the modern utilities are all there. This apartment is the gem of the building because it is at the top floor (there is a modern elevator, do not worry) and has a view of the Golden Horn, the Old City and it has enough open space to enjoy these beauties. There are wooden floorboards, two balconies and a terrace, a barbecue, a fire place. The ceiling is high, giving the place a fresh atmosphere. There is a big living room with an open plan kitchen and a dining area and chairs. There is a natural gas combi heater, air conditioner in the living room, TV with satellite receiver and a DVD player, hair dryer, clean sheets and towels and free cleaning every three days. Wireless and a diaphone buzzer is a standard in all our flats. There is an elevator, water tank and camera controlled entrance in this building. We recently redecorated the flat with new couches, LCD TV, a new closet and beds and a new bathroom and an extra ensuite shower, some retouches over there and here. Boy, it is a cool apartment now: Relax, work and enjoy!
Location
Location of this flat is great: a 3 minute walk will take you to Istiklal Street. On your left is the new shopping mall. A little further towards Galatasaray is the Fish and the Flower markets which you must visit for the freshest buys. Taksim Square is on the opposite direction to the right and a 5 minute walk away. The bus and the metro stops are there. Closest supermarket is in Cihangir, a 5 minute away. You can always take a taxi down the road. If you walk straight right (down the road) you will eventually reach Tophane where you can take the tram to Sultanahmet. Tophane itself has become an art place with lots of galleries, Museum of Innocence by famous Nobel winner writer Orhan Pamuk, Baruthane, and eventually Istanbul Modern on the main road where the tram line is. Kılıc Ali Pasa Mosque and newly restored hammam is a must see and experience! There are so many little cafes, shops and boutiques; it is for you to discover which one you like most!
Bed Arrangement
3 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. One of the double beds is in a mezzanine bedroom so the ceiling is low and space limited.
