Our goal is not imitate the luxury hotels but keep intact the magic of Catalan Farmhouse.
If you are looking for a relaxing place to leave your troubles behind, enjoy the nature, Catalan gastronomy, its art and culture, you are making the best choice with la Garrotxa area, between the mountains and the sea. Unlike some nearby areas that have suffered from extreme growth in turism and industry, la Garrotxa remains completely unspoilt. Mas Ca la Coixa, is a 17 th century Masia ( Catalan traditional farmhouse ), located in the small village of Tortellà ( 700 inhabitants). We have recently rebuilt the old barn of the masia into three fully equipped appartments with all comforts of modern life within a rustic setting.
The 4 apartments have central heating and hot water. There is a washing-machine on guests disposal in a room away from the apartments. All the apartments are fully provided with linen, blankets, towells,toilet paper, kitchen utensils and cleaning products stock. Every kitchen is fully equipped with electric devices offering the comfort you are looking for in your holidays: microwave oven, dish-washer machine, fridge, cooker, bread-toaster, stem blender. In the livingroom there is a file with useful information about the area.And remember that we live only 20 meters appart, for any information, advice, anything missed, broken or not working properly, the solution is easy to find.
You can choose between these four accommodation: 4 people East, 4 people west, 5 people "L'era", or 4 people "La casa del avi" (air-conditioned).
