This is a new triplex home just up the hill from the Aegean Sea, around 150 square meters. It is located 40 km. south of Izmir and 4 km south from the small town of Seferihisar. There is good transportation from minibuses, to and from Izmir and other locations. Taxis are available from the nearby town of Seferihisar. It is in Kemerkaya Site, which has about 50 such houses. It is a very beautiful house with a great sea view and nearby fish restaurants. The first floor has a kitchen and large living room and a terrace near the garden. The second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The top floor is a library and a second bathroom. There is a second large terrace on the top floor which has a great sea view. The house is close to the major city of Izmir (40 km) and the ancient city Ephesus (70 km). Also there are good beaches at Ozdere (20 km) and Kusadasa (where many cruise ships come) is about 60 km. It is close to Akkum beach a white sand beach. There are many interesting towns and small villages in the area. The local town has a weekly market and farmers market with cheap fruits and vegetables. It is very quite and peaceful for sleeping or resting. The garden is grassy has small trees. There is a large swimming pool which is open in the summer months. There are open-air exercise machines. One can walk down to the beach from the house.
The area is quiet and never uncomfortably hot even in the hottest summer days because there is an almost constant breeze. The house has air conditioning and heat. Most people with homes in the site are professionals who live in Izmir and come on weekends. Some retirees live continuoously. The site has its own grounds keepers. It is near the ancient site of Teos and Cesme, which is famous for wind surfing and resort and this is just across from the Greek Islamd of Chios (Sakiz Adasi). Cesme is about 50 km. There are good local supermarkets, European style. Izmir is a beautiful city with many pubs and restaurants on the Kordon near the sea, museams, historical sites, movie theaters, night life, European pubs and so on. There are walking areas and bicycling areas. Nearby Sigacik Bay has many inexpensive fish restaurants, with good wines, beer, and other drinks. The Aegean is frienly and open and not a socially conservative area as some might expect, in Turkey. It is quite different from central and eastern Anatolia. Socially it is quite European.
