This is a nice and clean Cukurcuma apartment that has a very pleasant location. It has 2 bedrooms. The entrance floors are shared by an antique dealer and there is another apartment on the basement floor and mostly people visiting Istanbul from abroad stay there. The building is very well looked after and is quiet and peaceful. It is not an old one, but the ceiling is high and the place is light and airy. There are 2 double bedrooms, a dining table and chairs in the living room and a desk in one of the bedrooms. There is a natural gas combi heater, air conditioner in the living room, hair dryer, washing maschine, clean sheets and towels and free weekly cleaning. Wireless and a diaphone buzzer is a standard in all our flats.
The street is Cukurcuma and it is famous for the antique shops. When you get out of your building and turn right and walk straight up, you will eventually come to Istiklal Street somewhere near the Aga Mosque or the Demiroren Shopping Mall (it will be a 10 minute walk). Along Istiklal is shopping, entertainment, eating, etc. Taksim Square, where you take the metro or bus to anywhere in Istanbul, is on one end of Istiklal Street. If you turn left as you get out of the building and walk downhill for 10 minutes, you come to Tophane to see the great Kılıc Ali Pasa Mosque by Architect Sinan and right there is the tram line to Sultanahmet ( Old City) and Kabatas (fort he ferries to the Asian side and the Prince Islands).
