The self-catering Casa Cueva Calatrava has all the mod-cons and services that you need to fully enjoy your stay, yet it is nicely arranged and it has many typical charming features. In this house-cave you will find what many tourists are looking for, peace, countryside, and ethnic authenticity. The Casa Cueva Calatrava is a real ethnologic museum where you can see, touch and live like people lived many years ago. It's a house with a natural bio climate.
The house comprises of three homely bedrooms, located inside the cave. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed. All bed-lining is provided.
This is the part of the house which is inside the cave, this way you are guaranteed a constant temperature even at night. Or during the siesta time, you can enjoy a nice cool temperature, while it's boiling outside.

Enjoy a big living/kitchen-dining room, with sofa-bed, fireplace, candles and a wide variety of books. The kitchen is open plan.
A living room where you can enjoy silence, peace and tranquillity surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Enjoy relaxing, chatting to friends and family, or reading many of the books that you can find in the house. However, just in case you miss it, you can also watch some television. In case of emergencies, there is also lanterns and candles.
The house has a bathroom with bath, hot water, first-aid kit, toiletries for men and women, as well as towels.
The house can also offer a fully fitted kitchen with all the necessary equipment, anything that you need to feel like at home and do all the cooking that you want: hob, plates, glasses, cutlery, pans, coffee maker, fridge, grill, and many more.
At the entrance of the house, there is a big terrace where you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains, and there you can relax while you enjoy the sunset.
We want you to use this as another room of the house, there is a bench, table and chairs, and you can even enjoy a nice evening meal al fresco.
The Casa Cueva Calatrava is the ideal starting point for many sightseeing trips and activities that you can enjoy in the Desert of Tabernas, the Karst and Yesos of Sorbas, and Almeria.
