You can also enjoy the Andalusian history and art for all the towns and cities that make up our Route of the Caliphate.

La Casa rural Montecillo bajo es, con su magnífica situación en la ladera de Sierra Alcaide, un lugar que ofrece al turismo la tranquilidad de las Sierras del Parque Natural de la Subbética Cordobesa en una finca privada de 20 hct. El lugar presenta multitud de accesos cercanos para realizar rutas, bien de senderismo a través de las diferentes sierras que rodean la zona, como también disfrutar de rutas apasionantes con bicicleta, señalizadas y organizadas por el parque a través de los diferentes ayuntamientos, en sus folletos de guía y otras no guiadas. Otra de las variedades que ofrece la zona, es disfrutar del “turismo del aceite” típico de nuestras tierras, donde se pueden obtener productos, tradicionales de la zona como aceite de oliva virgen extra, con denominación de origen, dulce de membrillo, turrolate de almendra, vino montilla moriles y una larga lista de productos a tan solo 1 km de la casa en la Cooperativa Virgen del Castillo.
