<description>Valizas needed a different space, a place where young people and families could be comfortable, safe and where they could live a great experience.
In January 2006, this dream came true when &quot;La Comarca” of Valizas, a country inn and campsite, opened its doors.
It is located in route 10 in the main access to “Barra de Valizas&quot;. “La Comarca” has 10 hectares of land on a high ground, which allow an exceptional view of the Buena Vista hill, the “Moving Dunes”, the swamps and palm trees of Rocha, and the Castillos lake .
In a wooded ground with native trees, ombu (umbra trees) and other vegetable species, it lies an old country house built in 1900, which has been recently rebuilt to be transformed into a country inn.
This mixture of ocean and countryside, full of green places and beautiful views, offers multiple possibilities to our guests: enjoy the settings, use the services of the inn, the parador (hostel), walks, treks to Cabo Polonio and to Monte de Ombúes, horse riding, birdwatching, sighting of whales and other cetaceans.
This outstanding natural place is remarkably calm and safe, it has a familiar atmosphere and it is served by its own landlords.
