We have a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment for short-term rent during the Olympics. The apartment is fully furnished with all requisite amenities, such as a two bedrooms with all the necessary linens, a kitchen with a microwave, fridge and freezer, utensils, etc. a water filtration system that is extremely easy to use and supplies both hot and cold water, a fully furnished bathroom with towels, soap, toilet paper, etc… The apartment is located on the 16th floor, is 86 square meters, and offers an excellent view of the city. It is secure and offers 24 hour on-the-scene security.

The apartment is ideally located from the Olympic Village and is about 20-30 minutes by cab (roughly a 20 RMB cab ride – that’s less than USD$3) without traffic – with a traffic, it might take up to an hour, give or take. The community the apartment is located in has everything you need (a little supermarket, a pharmacy, less than 5 minutes by cab to one of Beijing’s best international hospitals, multiple restaurants offering various cuisines, convenience stores, massage parlors, etc.). In addition, I have been living here for the past 8+ years and am very familiar with where the good restaurants, bars, clubs, tea houses and ‘walkable’ scenic areas are and would be more than happy to provide such information to you in a mini-book (obviously in both English and Chinese). I am also happy to provide you with the names of areas just outside the city that are fun for weekend and day trips – essentially bed and breakfasts whereby you can go fishing, bring what you catch back to your accommodations, and pick out your own vegetables – your hosts will do all of the cooking.*

In addition to the above, the apartment is also ideally located near the 798 art district, which makes it ideal for those of you who enjoy walking around and viewing good pieces of artwork. It is situated right outside the east 4th ring road is an area frequented by numerous foreigners (as well as locals).
