Hiking begins just at the back of the house. Not far there are 5 restaurants including a pizzeria and woodgrilled chicken, minigolf and horse riding stables. Only 25 minutes drive from Horta where the shops are, the ferry boats to Pico, S.Jorge and Graciosa and also Whale- and dolphine watch tours can be booked. An english speaking babysitter/nanny and/or cleaning lady can be arranged. Dutch owner, speaks english and portuguese.
